Est. 2019
The young Swiss grunge band Epicentrum was founded in Bern in 2019 by Lee, Gabriel and Pad. The band members were inspired by grunge from the start, with bands like Nirvana, Alice In Chains and Seether.
Dynamic structures, dramatic songwriting, and emotional vocals, that's what characterizes the grunge sound of the four Bernese. Their sound is characterized by distorted riffs, bitter vocals, and a pinch of aggressiveness. Grunge gets a new breath of fresh air.
In 2022, the band released their debut album, Discrepancy, which was well received by fans and critics alike. The songs on the album deal with dark themes. The composition of the album is characterized by varied facets.
After years of hard work in the basement, the band is ready for the stage and ready to delight rock lovers with their honest sound.
Epicentrum is currently working on their second album which is planned to release in 2025. The new songs are said to have even more depth and catchiness than the ones on their debut album.

What the hell have we been doing in 2022 you might ask?
Well, we’ve been writing, rehearsing and finalizing some new tunes! We're also proud to say that in November 2022 we had our first gig in Zollbrück and we were blown away! What a kickass night this was! You might find some remains of Gabriel's blood and his broken off nails on stage.. Guitar picks are overrated anyway.
And of course, next to drinking, rehearsing, writing and jamming, we're also proud to announce that the prepartions for producing our 2nd LP have begun! The music has been written, and now it's all about doing artwork, recording and producing this motherfucker! We're really proud of this next album, a lot of experimentation, fucked up vocal performances and a lot of filth will await you! Until then you can listen to our debut LP Discrepancy, or you come to our concerts, as we play some songs off the 2nd album!
If you were one of the luckier ones to see our first gig in Zollbrück, we played 2 songs off our upcoming album! These songs were "Boozer Shithead" and "Bury Me"... Well, I guess these titles speak for themselves, don't they?! Anyway. make sure to check out the concert section, to see some upcoming concerts or to see some impressions of past concerts!!
